Blurring the boundaries between architecture and nature is the key motive of The University of Arizona Center for Creative Photography Extension. Home to some of the finest collection of photographs that span centuries and hosts many visiting exhibition.
The new CCP extension (located in what used to be a hot, sprawled parking lot) will contain new exhibition space, comfortable working environment for administration, classrooms, cafe and an auditorium. These architectural spaces are densely built to allow for more green, terrace spaces that opens up to the street edge. This creates an open public spaced that creates moments of pause for people coming through the street, adjacent buildings and the underpass.
